Solid Waste Management

Biological decomposition of organic solid waste

More than half of the municipal solid waste generated in India is organic — food scraps, garden waste and market waste. When this wet waste goes to landfills it generates methane and leachate; when treated biologically it becomes a resource.

We provide microbial cultures and process guidance that accelerate the decomposition of organic solid waste for housing societies, temples, markets, municipalities and institutions — converting a liability into compost and biogas.

Key Benefits

  • Rapid decomposition of kitchen, garden and market waste
  • Significant odour and leachate reduction
  • Fly and pest attraction minimised
  • Higher quality, pathogen-reduced end compost
  • Reduced waste transport and landfill costs
  • Suitable for decentralised, on-site processing

How It Works

Our Process

1

Waste Characterisation

We assess the type, quantity and segregation level of organic waste generated at your site.

2

Method Selection

Aerobic composting, in-vessel, windrow or biogas — we recommend the right route for your volume and space.

3

Culture Dosing

Microbial cultures are applied at defined ratios to seed rapid, odour-controlled decomposition.

4

Process Monitoring

Temperature, moisture and turning schedules are guided by our team until stabilisation.

5

End-Use Support

We help you sieve, cure and put the finished compost to productive use or sale.

Applications

  • Housing societies & apartment complexes
  • Municipal wet waste processing centres
  • Temple, wedding hall & community kitchens
  • Vegetable and fruit markets
  • Farm and agri-waste management
  • Corporate & campus canteens

Frequently Asked Questions

Well-maintained windrow or in-vessel composting with our thermophilic cultures typically stabilises in 4–6 weeks versus 10–12 weeks or more without inoculation, with noticeably less odour.

Yes — removing plastics, metals and large inert items is essential. The better the segregation, the cleaner and faster the decomposition and the higher the compost quality.

From 50 kg/day at a housing society to several tonnes per day at municipal processing centres. Dosing rates and process design are scaled accordingly.
